Neuromancer: the Graphic Novel
http://neuromancer.thealscott.comMy project is an adaptation of William Gibson’s seminal novel, Neuromancer. The goal has been to create a fluid and immersive space in which a graphic novel can be viewed online.This has been done breaking images up into multiple layers, and then positioning them relative to each other in a 3D space to create interesting visual effects as well as combining sound and movement into the piece to allow a more dynamic user experience. Although constrained to just a tiny portion of the source material, I have tried to do it justice while still finding a unique style.
About me
I have to say I am not a fan of these self-description things, so I will keep it short; I am interested in all things technology, and always have been, I’m generally pretty calm and easy to get along with and I enjoy the satisfaction that creative pursuits affords me. Coming to university has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I have enjoyed every minute of the people, projects, lectures and parties.
