Good & Evil
http://www.benmclellan.com/good&evil.html‘Good & Evil’ is an immersive online children’s narrative based around the tales of two lead characters, Good & Evil. The project includes a dynamic world full of creatures and interesting locations, encouraging reading as the primary focus of learning through an inspiring fictional narrative. The idea of the project is to offer children an inspiring, imaginative narrative which encourages reading in a new way and interact with the internet and computer. It also offers a website hosting the content and offering extra stuff, such as desktop backgrounds and printable colouring pages.
About me
My time at Bournemouth has been very rewarding. I have learnt new skills and found what both my strengths and weaknesses are. I met inspiring and interesting people and found out a lot about myself.
I have a huge passion for creative and brand design and using semiotic principals of shape, symbols and colours to evoke a response from an audience. I also have a huge interest in concept and narrative for cartoons and computer games. I work hard and put my best into everything I do. I am currently self employed and do freelance work on a variety of tasks, such as, web and print design and branding, flash animated banners, re-design and wire-frames. Some of my clients are Argos.co.uk, ‘Bazaarvoice’ and ‘Designs by Steed’ on a variety of different projects.
Aside from media my passions are in keeping fit, good food and travel.
