MyFace is an interactive instillation which enables the user to scan their face, to paint the resulting 3d model and to publish their three dimensional portrait for others to view and enjoy. Employing a home made structured light scanner (The same technology used to capture Thom Yorke’s face in the Music video for Radio Head’s House of Cards.) to produce the scans and with user interaction taken care of by Wii-mote technology. MyFace provides a unique user experience by breaking away from the now boring user interface of mouse and keyboard enabling user interaction more suited to the stand up environment of an exhibition space.

About me

I am currently working as an ActionScript 3 developer but I also have extensive experience of working with Unity3D. The majority of my experience is within game development but my skill set is flexible enough to fit most projects. I’d like to find myself contributing towards substantial projects with a team, as I believe demanding projects create the best rewards especially when shared by a motivated group. My passions away from the computer are cooking and enjoying the great outdoors.
