The focus of the campaign is communicating climate change issues in an appealing way, encouraging individuals to learn and gain a more positive attitude towards ways to make a difference.
Through gaming and exploration users can learn about these issues. The ‘game’ part of the interactive is a traditional board game experience, allowing the user to role a dice, moving along the board and completing mini-tasks along the way. The user will also be free to explore, collecting information as they wish. Both avenues lead to the user pledging to make a difference by adding a personalised leaf to the pledge tree.
I used my final year as an opportunity to create a project I am passionate about as well as pushing my creative skills and teaching myself more about Flash and Actionscript
About me
Imagination is the window into the soul. I love being creative and have a passion for all things that fuel the mind. I’m passionate about good design and inspirational art that gets people talking and thinking in new ways. I enjoy mixing art and technology and believe interactive media is a vastly unexplored arena that will continue to allow people to combine design and visuals in innovative ways.
Eventually I would like to become a designer, working for a company that is renowned for their ambitious and creative design work. I also hope that during my career I work alongside charities, producing inspiring interactive campaigns.
