The Very Healthy Caterpillar
http://impserver.bournemouth.ac.uk/~rbarker/index.phpThe Very Healthy Caterpillar website helps parents and children learn more about nutrition and eat more healthily. The website includes a fun, educational and interactive game which is created to give children facts about good and bad foods based on the well known and loved children’s book, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle.
Users can also share healthy, delicious and simple recipes to cook for their families and upload their culinary creations to share with other parents who want to cook a nutritious meal for their family.
Nutrition can and should be fun so what better way to make that happen than by children having fun, whilst learning.
